1. Information we collect
We collect information you give us directly, and information created by using the app: account & profile (phone number, display name, profile photo, about text), business profile if you list something for sale, chat content (messages, media, group/thread membership), wallet & payments (balance, transaction history, hashed PIN, account number — full card details are never stored, Paystack handles those), marketplace activity (orders, bookings, votes, ticket purchases, delivery address text), and basic device/usage data for push notifications and keeping the app working.
2. How we use it
To operate the app's features, process payments and payouts, send you relevant notifications, respond to support requests, and keep the platform safe (fraud prevention, abuse reports, enforcing our Terms).
3. Who we share it with
Other users you choose to interact with, Paystack (payments), Arkesel (SMS login codes), Firebase Cloud Messaging (push notifications), DigitalOcean (hosting/storage), and OpenAI (only for messages sent to the in-app AI assistant). We do not sell your personal data.
4. Your choices
Edit your profile, delete messages, or leave threads/groups any time in the app. Contact support@y3nkasa.com for a data export or full account deletion.
5. Data retention
Kept while your account is active, plus a limited period after deletion where legally required (e.g. financial records).
